Angus could sense there was more Stephen wanted to say and stepped closer. “’Tis not your fault what happened to Deirdre.” He laughed. “She will prove to be a handful, but ’tis what I love most about her.”
Stephen sighed and embraced his brother. “Then thank the gods she is your woman.”
“Aye!” agreed Angus, releasing him.
